What is Eight Thirty?

Eight Thirty are freeze-dried food powder blends made from delicious natural ingredients. They’re packaged in convenient single serving packets and can be added to all sorts of bland food staples like porridge, yoghurt, smoothies, cereal etc.

What’s in Eight Thirty?

Our different flavours are made from freeze-dried fruit powders (see freeze-dried), unrefined sugars, and spices. That’s it!

How do I use it?

That’s the fun bit! Eight Thirty can be used in all kinds of different ways, depending on how creative you want to get. But to start you off, take a look at our social media for inspiration

How much do I use?

One packet is plenty for your average portion but it’s so healthy, there’s no harm in adding more if you want to. Or you can just sprinkle in a little and keep the rest in the sachet until the next day.

Does it last if I don’t use a full sachet?

Yes, absolutely. Just be sure to store any left over in a dry place and it’ll last a couple of days. Be careful not to get it wet though.

Does it contain any allergens?

Eight Thirty is dairy-free, refined sugar free and vegan-friendly. However it may contain traces of nuts and gluten.

Does it contain sugar?

The following flavours contain a tiny bit of unrefined sugar (all less than a teaspoon): Strawberry & Vanilla, Cacao, Coconut & Maple and Acai, Blackcurrant & Blueberry.

What is freeze-drying?

Freeze-drying is a process where fresh fruit is picked, washed then frozen to about -40°C. Then it’s left to dry out until all the frozen water has evaporated. We then crush our dried fruits into a powder and blend them with other natural ingredients to create our blends.

Does freeze-drying take away the goodness?

Not at all. One of the great things about dried powders is that they contain the same amount of vitamins and minerals as fresh fruit – but last a lot longer.

How long do they last?

Our blends have a shelf life of up to 12 months.

Are these products organic?

No, not as a whole, but many of the ingredients we use are organic. Please look at the ingredients list for each flavour to see which ingredients are organic.

How should I store my Eight Thirty packets?

However you like, you do you.

Where do I find the nutritional information?

On the back of each packet is a nutritional grid. You can also find this information on the product pages.

What is your packaging made from?

Our sachets and delivery packaging is all made from recyclable material. The sachets are PL plastic which can be recycled with your plastic bottles. The delivery packaging can be recyclables with your paper and card home recycling. We’re working on switching to fully compostable packaging.

Shipping/ ordering

How do I track my order?

Once you’ve placed an order, we’ll send you a tracking number and tracking link. If there are any problems along the way, we’re here to help. Just email us at hello@eightthirty.co.uk

When can I expect to receive my order?

After you place an order it usually takes 2- 3 working days for your blends to arrive.

UK shipping fees and times

We use Royal Mail and Hermes for our deliveries. Here are the fees: £2.20 per order

My order arrived damaged or incomplete

We’re sorry to hear that. Please email us at hello@eightthirty.co.uk and we’ll get it sorted asap.

Refunds

If the box you receive is damaged, or not what you were expecting please email us at hello@eightthirty.co.uk and we’ll arrange a refund. We may ask for a photo of the box, just to help improve our product/ delivery service. We hope that’s ok.

If my parcel doesn’t arrive, who do I call?

Don’t panic! First, check the tracking number/ link to see if it’s been delivered or not. If it’s on the way but late, let us know. Equally, if they say it’s been delivered but it’s nowhere to be seen, get in touch with us and we’ll work out what’s happened then resend a box if we need to.

Can I buy these products in stores?

You won’t find us in any stores: we’re online only. And we’re always open!

Subscriptions

Can I change the flavours/ how often I get them?

Yes, you can change the combination and frequency of delivery really easily in your account.

How often do you deliver?

You can choose from a delivery every two weeks or every four weeks.

Where can I view my orders?

When you subscribe, you’ll set up your own account. From here you’ll be able to see all your orders, manage your payments, contact details, delivery details etc. It’s your own little control centre.

Can I change my flavours before each order?

Yes, absolutely. Before each order, we’ll send you a little reminder, and you can go into your account and change your flavour options for your next delivery.

Can I change my regular delivery?

Yes, if you’d like to change how often you get deliveries – or the date of delivery please email us at hello@eightthirty.co.uk and we will amend it for you.

Is there a deadline for changing my delivery or flavours?

You can amend your flavours up to 48 hours before your orders are due to arrive. This will give us enough time to pack your box and send it out.

Do I need to be present for delivery?

No problem. You can add a note for the delivery person to leave it in a convenient place.

I am having trouble logging into my customer account

You might need to reset your password and there’s an option for doing that at login. If there’s still a problem, please give us a call or drop us an email and we’ll get it sorted asap for you.

My delivery is wrong, what shall I do?

Sorry about that. Please email us and we’ll sort it out for you quicksmart. You can reach us at hello@eightthirty.co.uk

Subscription cancellation policy

Say it ain’t so! It would be sad to see you go – but you can easily cancel through your account or email us and we’ll do it for you.

I am not receiving receipt emails

Please double check your junk folder. Still no sign? Then drop us a line and we’ll send them to you directly.

Payment

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Stripe, Paypal, debit and credit.

Are there membership fees or cancellation fees?

Nope, none, nada.

Can I update my payment details?

Yes, you can indeed. Please log in to your account and select the Billing Information section. You can update and amend your payment details here.

How does the payment appear on my statement?

It will say Eight Thirty Ltd.

Do you charge for delivery?

Yes. Delivery prices are shown at checkout.

Does it include VAT?

No VAT on our products, so no VAT to pay.

Where can I check my previous payments?

In your account, there’s a section called ‘Payment History’ – this lists all your previous payments and orders.

Will I be refunded if I cancel before the order has been delivered?

If you cancel 72 hours before the date of delivery, your order will be refunded in full. Unfortunately, after that you’ll be charged for your order.

Other

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, we do promotional discounts. Sign up to our newsletter and we’ll let you know when we’re offering a discount.

Do you offer samples?

For first time customers, yes we do. If there’s a flavour you’d like to try before you buy, send us an email and we’ll send you a sample.

How many sachets can I eat per day?

As many as you feel like!
